Chemical peels are used for medical resurfacing. Peels use chemical solutions to remove the top layers of skin in order to reduce wrinkles, acne scarring and age spots.
At Georgian Medical Aesthetics, we offer a variety of chemical peels in varying strengths. These treatments use chemical solutions to remove the top layers of skin to reduce wrinkles, improve appearance of acne scarring, and smooth skin tone & texture. By promoting cell regeneration, an improved complexion will be the result.
To ensure that you undergo the most suitable chemical peel treatment for you, your provider will start with a brief skin health consultation to personalize your treatment plan.
Deep chemical peels are the strongest type of peel available, penetrating even further into the dermis to stimulate collagen production for a firmer and smoother look. Deep chemical peels remove much more than surface-level cells, meaning there will be longer recovery times associated with this type of procedure as well as increased risks such as hyperpigmentation or scarring. To ensure that you undergo the most suitable chemical peel treatment for you needs we recommend consulting Georgian Medical Aesthetics.
Before undergoing any chemical peel procedure it’s important to understand the risks and benefits associated with the treatment. Chemical peels can cause side effects such as redness, swelling, temporary discoloration and sensitivity so it is recommended to discuss your medical history with a qualified practitioner before proceeding with treatment.
At Georgian Medical Aesthetics we offer a range of chemical peel procedures suitable for all skin types and desired outcomes. We are highly experienced in administering both light and medium strength peels, as well as more invasive deep-level treatments. We understand that every individual has unique needs and strive to provide personalized care through our cosmetic services. A chemical peel is a skin treatment that uses chemical solutions to exfoliate the top layers of skin in order to reduce wrinkles, acne scarring and age spots. It can also be used to improve skin tone and texture.
The effects of a light or medium strength chemical peel will usually show within 1-2 weeks after treatment, while the effects of deep peels may take several months before they become apparent.
As with any medical procedure, there are always some risks associated with chemical peels. These risks include redness, swelling, temporary discoloration and sensitivity. It is important to discuss your medical history with a qualified practitioner before proceeding with treatment.
The type of peel that is best suited to you will depend on your individual skin type, desired outcome and any existing medical conditions you may have. We recommend consulting Georgian Medical Aesthetics for more advice about the most suitable chemical peel procedure available to you.
Not really! The chemical peels at Georgian Medical Aesthetics are not like the dramatic results you see on TV. Most people go back to their daily routine once they leave the Clinic. You may notice some increased redness and mild peeling in the days following your treatment. Your provider will be able to answer any questions you have about aftercare.
